Motif information:
North Shore O'ahu: A young local surfer has clamped his board under his arm and is about to jump into the sea. I took the motif respectively the underlying original photograph on a beach on the North Shore on the Hawaiian island of Maui, which is legendary surf spot. Surfing and the lifestyle that goes with it, based on the (religious) respect for the sea and nature, as well as the associated ecological awareness to protect them, are part of life on the North Shore, as for others a walk in the woods. The North Shore with Weimea Bay is one of the places of origin of today's (modern) surfing. In the 1950´s, the famous Eddie Aikau, after whom the world-famous surfing competition "The Eddie" is named, started surfing waves of a size that nobody had dared before (note: the competition usually only takes place when the waves are higher than 9 meters!). With "The Pipeline", one of the most famous and dangerous surf spots belongs to the North Shore, too. When the waves get bigger, the beaches of the North Shore are absolutely not for beginners - but pure happiness for those who have what it takes!

Our shipping partner is DHL and DPD. For larger formats, the items are reliably delivered by a forwarding agency that specializes in the transport of valuable art.
2. Delivery times
Your orders are usually delivered within 4 to 10 working days. For deliveries to other European or international countries, longer delivery times may apply depending on the respective shipping method (air freight, etc.). You are welcome to ask me about these.

Before ordering, please contact me by email at info@taijntorijn.com as there may be additional charges for deliveries to the above countries/zones (e.g. additional customs duties etc.) may arise . Unfortunately, these additional fees must be requested from our supplier on a daily basis. I would then be happy to submit a corresponding one to you non-binding offer. In case you do this do not accept I will refund you the purchase price including shipping costs of course back immediately !

4. Scope of delivery :
Our photo specialist always delivers your order completely and in one shipment. Should a subsequent delivery be necessary in individual cases, this is free of shipping costs for you! If you are not at the delivery address given on the day of delivery, you will be informed accordingly by our shipping partner. In the case of delivery by a forwarding agent, you will be informed about the delivery date (per e-mail or by phone ) informed in advance. With the shipping confirmation you will also receive the tracking number and you can track your package online.
5. Delivery by SPEDITION - " free curbside " :
For Formats individually agreed between us (see under menu item " Commissioned Works " ) that exceed the formats specified above, or Order quantities over 10 pictures , there may be a Forwarding agency for delivery must be commissioned .

In the case of delivery by freight forwarder, delivery is "free to the curb".
