Motif information:

I took the underlying photograph on a beautiful beach in the northwest of the island of Maui (Hawaii) near the town of Laheina. In the relaxed atmosphere of the place and a pleasant evening mood, this actually inconspicuous beach house caught my eye while walking on the beach. Framed by the two palm trees and against the background of a foggy mountain range, the place seemed to me both urban and, due to the fog rising between the mountain ranges, unreal, close to nature and mystical. A place where I imagined that the residents of the house would certainly always feel the magic of Hawaii, with a view of the - at least for me - always beautiful, endless ocean that conveys freedom and inner peace.
